Friday 13th February 2004 saw the opening of the Fr Mikhail's early idea. A
Youth Club for the youth of St Mary & St Merkorious' Coptic Orthodox Church
to gather and spend their time in a spiritual and blessed presence, to
socialise and get closer to the church and to grow in Christ. This night was
also blessed with the presence and prayers of HG Bishop Theophilus of the
Red Sea.Currently, the Youth Club is
open to those in Year 11 and above after the Friday night Youth Meetings,
and for younger high school students before them from 8:00pm - 10:00pm.
