IWCSS News (Community News)

The IWCSS is offering their Arab-speaking volunteer's service. His name is Hany Naguib. You may download the flyerhere. And below is a short version of what it says:

The Smith Family Inner West Community Settlement Service (IWCSS) has an Arabic speaking volunteer who is available to assist clients with their settlements needs. Hany Naguib is available on Thursdays from 9am to 4pm at our Burwood location at Level 2, 29-31 Belmore St, Burwood. Appointments with Hany can be made from Monday to Friday by calling 9715 3497 or clients can drop in between 9am and 4pm on Thursdays.

Pass it on to your Arab-speaking clients or your network with Arab-speaking clients.

Church Dinner Cruise	19th February 2006
The Church Committee of St Mary & St Merkorious Coptic Orthodox Church cordially invites you to a Dinner Cruise on the Sydney Harbour. Our main objective is to gather together in unity to Praise the Lord and to enjoy together a Harbour Dinner Cruise. To secure the best event, the luxury boat of Vagabond Cruises has been booked and a top class gourmand dinner via Chelsea Restaurant has been arranged. Beside the delicious dinner, we shall have fun, and so many prizes will be available within our traditional Coptic Orthodox environment. The cruise capacity allows 150 persons only (adults or children) to be seated for the dinner. Therefore, we appreciate your quick decision... PLEASE consult ASAP with your family and friends in order to confirm your seats. Embarkation from “Casino Wharf” at 6:45 p.m. disembarkation at 10:00 p.m. Cost: $50 per person We would love to see you join us on this blessed and wonderful evening.
Congratulations to all HSC Students	2005
The clergy and congregation of St Mary & St Merkorious Coptic Orthodox Church would like to congratulate 2005's Higher School Certificate (HSC) students for completing their HSC examinations which concluded on Friday 11th November 2005. Our prayers and support go out to all who are now waiting for their results which come out on the 16th December 2005. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
